He completed his specialist training in 2010 and has been the Clinical Director Palliative Medicine at Calvary Health Care Bethlehem and Medical Director Palliative Care, Cabrini Health, as well as been a VMO at Eastern and Alfred Health. Dr King’s current public position is at Monash Health managing the palliative service at Casey Hospital and runs the Oncology Pain Clinic, Moorabbin Hospital. Dr King practices privately at South Eastern Private, Mulgrave Private and St John of God. Dr King has an interest in general palliative care, complex pain management, chronic symptom management in cancer survivors and non-cancer patients, and sits on several clinical governance committees. In his limited spare time Dr King sits on the commitee and is treasurer of the Friends of Edithvale and Seaford Wetlands.
